The building’s iconic fractured-glass facade, a defining feature of the real-world structure, was recreated by QZYModels’ team using a hybrid of laser cutting and hand-finishing: each geometric glass panel was precision-cut from ultra-thin acrylic sheets, then individually hand-polished to achieve the subtle light refraction of real glass, before being set into a hand-assembled steel framework that mirrors the complex, organic lattice of the original structure.
