QZY Models is proud to unveil the 1:1000 scale urban design model, masterfully crafted for AECOM’s iconic Shanghai Jiading Core Area project. This exquisitely detailed masterpiece integrates a sophisticated synergy of premium materials and cutting-edge craftsmanship, including natural maple wood, precision 3D printing, ultra-fine laser cutting and CNC machining.
 
The model’s road networks and base are finished with double-layered maple wood veneer pressed to perfection, infusing the overall presentation with a distinctive, tactile texture and understated luxury. The landscaping design features a meticulous differentiation of tree species, artfully distinguishing between avenue trees and ornamental landscape foliage for authentic spatial layering. At the heart of the model, the core area’s detailed architectural structures are engineered with unparalleled precision: acrylic panels form crystal-clear glass curtain walls, paired with laser-engraved structural frameworks whose finest details measure a mere 0.4mm. The avant-garde landscape sculptures in the core zone are expertly crafted from semi-transparent materials using advanced 3D printing techniques, capturing their artistic design with flawless accuracy.
 
Peripheral buildings are formed from 3D-printed modules, hand-finished with a delicate overlay of maple wood veneer to create clean, naturally textured blocks. This intentional design approach artfully accentuates the project’s core design focal points while subtly softening the visual prominence of the surrounding structures, achieving a harmonious hierarchical aesthetic. Landscape water features are enhanced with a matte UV-printed finish that mimics the natural luster of real water for immersive realism. Spanning an impressive 2x2 meters, this extraordinary model was completed in an astonishing 15 days— a stunning testament to AECOM’s innovative urban design vision, and a shining showcase of QZY Models’ unrivaled expertise and efficiency in high-end model craftsmanship.
