Different from conventional plastic architectural models, this campus planning model uses natural logs as the core material. Laser cutting is applied to precisely carve stacked contour topographic layers, faithfully restoring the mountain terrain, undulating landform and water system of the site. Every contour line, terrain elevation and land boundary is accurately reproduced.
The campus buildings are represented with frosted translucent components, creating a distinct visual contrast against the warm wooden terrain base. Miniature vegetation clusters are hand arranged to simulate native woodland distribution.
